Sedbergh International Summer School

Running a good team building session something that some people make look easy – however there is a real art to it.

We think we got it right last summer with students from Sedbergh International Summer School.

Children come from all over the world to Sedbergh in the summer to learn English.

They have lessons in the mornings and we offer a programme of outdoor adventurous activities in the afternoons.

As the group is so diverse in nationality, team building is really important to the success of the programme. It is woven in throughout with activities that really promote working together. The same abilities apply later on in the course with coracle building and raft building challenges, also in looking after each other in the ghyll and on the water.
